On February 13, 2026, the Department of Tax Administration of the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting, and Auditing held an educational event for students majoring in Finance, Banking, and Insurance and academic staff. The event was held as part of the implementation of the Project «Building sustainable interest in the EU tax culture through the introduction of educational, scientific and communication outreach activities targeting Ukrainian society» of the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme: Jean Monnet", 101125984 - TIEU - ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH.

The event included:

  • a guest lecture on “The role and significance of tax culture in the democratization of relations between taxpayers and public authorities.” The project leader, Olga Ivanyushina, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Head of the Department, familiarized the audience with the peculiarities of the formation of tax culture in relations between taxpayers and regulatory authorities in EU countries, which are based on the principles of partnership, trust, and transparency;
  • a tax quiz “Interesting facts about taxes in the EU,” during which students showed considerable interest, actively participated in the discussion, and received positive impressions from the informative and practical event.

After the meeting, students and teachers emphasized that borrowing and implementing successful European experience in Ukraine is important for the development of tax culture and strengthening tax discipline in society.
