Professor of the Department of Accounting and Audit of the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting and Audit of the State Tax University, Volodymyr Metelytsia, participated in the international scientific conference "IAMO Forum 2026: Cultivating Methodological Fields, Harvesting Real-World Solutions: Advanced Methods in Agricultural Economics", which was held on 17-19 June 2026 in Halle (Saale), Germany, at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO).

The conference was dedicated to modern methodological approaches to research in agricultural economics and their application to addressing global challenges related to food security, sustainable development, the digital transformation of agri-food systems, adaptation to climate change, and the post-war recovery of transition economies. The forum participants discussed the use of modern econometric methods, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, remote sensing, and other innovative research approaches for developing scientifically grounded decisions in the fields of agricultural policy and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the conference, Volodymyr Metelytsia participated in the thematic session C3 "Ukraine Recovery", dedicated to the issues of Ukraine's post-war recovery. During the session, research findings were presented on the transformation of land resources and agricultural landscapes caused by military aggression, the development of women's entrepreneurship in rural communities, the adaptation of Ukrainian agribusiness to global economic challenges, and the use of modern digital technologies in agriculture.

As a result of the conducted research, the article "Sustainability Reporting in Times of Crisis: Evidence from Ukrainian Agribusiness", co-authored with Vladislav Valentinov and Taras Gagalyuk, was published in the annual scientific publication "IAMO Annual 2026".

Participation in IAMO Forum 2026 contributed to strengthening the international scientific cooperation of the State Tax University, expanding academic contacts with leading international researchers, and promoting the results of Ukrainian scientific research in the fields of sustainable development, ESG reporting, and the post-war recovery of Ukraine's economy.
