History
The Department of Physical Education, Sports, and Health was established on December 1, 2021, due to the reorganization of the University of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine into the State Tax University. In November 2023 was consolidation of two former departments: Physical Education, Sports, and Human Health, and Horticulture and Rehabilitation.
Oleksandr Lavrentiev, Candidate of Physical and Sport Sciences (Ph.D.), Associate Professor (Specialization: 24.00.02 - Physical Culture, Physical Education for Various Population Groups) currently heads the department.
General characteristics
The department is a graduating department in the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy with specialization 017 "Physical Education and Sports" under the educational-professional programs "Physical Education and Sports: Sport-Specific Coaching" and "Physical Education-Sports Rehabilitation and Recreation" at the first (bachelor's) level of higher education, as well as under the educational-professional program "Physical Education and Sports" at the second (master's) level of higher education.
