- In 2006, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Management of print media enterprises: a marketing-oriented approach” at the Specialized Academic Council of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade.
- On September 26, 2012, the certification board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine awarded him the academic title of Associate Professor.
