Conference of the staff
The supreme collegial body of public self-government of the State Tax University (hereinafter - the University) is the Conference of the labor collective (hereinafter - the Conference), which is elected for 5 years and is convened at least once a year, including elected representatives from among students, postgraduates, doctoral students.
The conference is an elected body, which represents all categories of participants in the educational process of the University, including representatives of the founder, including elected representatives from among applicants for higher education. Delegates to the Conference from the representative of structural units of the University are elected according to quotas established by decisions of the Academic Council of the University or by order of the rector (on the proposal of the trade union committee of the primary trade union organization) within the established number. At the same time, the Conference should include at least 75% of elected delegates (members) from among scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical staff of the University who work on a permanent basis, and at least 15% of elected representatives from among higher education applicants elected by direct secret elections.
The quantitative composition of the Conference is 200 delegates.
Conference of the University staff:
- approves, on the proposal of the Academic Council of the University, the Statute and amendments and additions to it;
- hears annually the report of the Rector and evaluates his activities;
- elects a commission on labor disputes in accordance with labor legislation;
- considers, upon a substantiated submission of the Supervisory Board or the Academic Council, the issue of early termination of powers of the Rector of the University, if there are grounds provided by law, the Charter, the contract;
- approves the Internal Regulations of the University and the Collective Agreement;
- elects elected representatives to the Academic Council of the University;
- considers other issues of the University's activities.
Iryna Chekhovska – Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Private Law – was elected Chairman of the Conference of the labor collective.
Deputy Chairman of the Conference Volodymyr Kraievskyi – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting and Audit.
Secretary of the Conference Maryna Kitchenko – Acting Deputy Dean for Educational and Organizational Work of the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting and Audit, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Employees.
