Today, at the graduation ceremony for bachelor’s degree students of the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Technologies, Sports and Rehabilitation of the State Tax University, a special guest joined the celebration — our long-time friend from Ireland, John Connors.
John is a sincere friend of Ukraine, deeply concerned about the events taking place in our country, and a reliable partner of the University and the Department of Foreign Languages. He actively supports students of the Philology programme, inspires them to achieve new goals, and contributes to the development of international cooperation.
During his congratulatory speech, John warmly congratulated the graduates on this important milestone — receiving their bachelor’s degrees. He wished them professional success, perseverance in achieving their goals, and confidence in their abilities.
A particularly touching moment of the ceremony was the presentation of financial awards to three Philology students who demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, dedication, responsibility, and active participation in university life. Each student received a certificate worth 10,000 UAH in recognition of their accomplishments and contribution to the university community.
We sincerely thank John Connors for his support of our students, his belief in Ukrainian youth, and his unwavering friendship with Ukraine. His kindness, generosity, and commitment are truly invaluable to our university family.
Together, we support education, young people, and the future of Ukraine!
