On March 25, 2026, a truly meaningful event took place at the State Tax University — the presentation of the book “THE UNBREAKABLE STATE TAX UNIVERSITY”, organized by the Department of Foreign Languages.
This is more than just a book. It is the voices of eyewitnesses of the occupation of Irpin in the spring of 2022 — stories of pain and loss, but also of strength, dignity, and resilience.
The author of the book, Irish writer and historian John Connors, emphasized that preserving the truth about these events is important not only for Ukraine, but for the whole world.
A particularly moving moment was the speech of Halyna Chyhryna, an eyewitness who kept a diary during the most difficult days. Her записи became the foundation of the book — sincere, painful, yet incredibly powerful.
During the presentation, philology students had a unique opportunity to interpret the Irish author’s speech, gaining valuable hands-on experience in live translation.
This book is about people. About those who endured. About those we remember.
This is not just a presentation — it is a step toward preserving memory and truth.
The book materials are presented as a working version and may be supplemented or revised in accordance with your suggestions.
