On May 9, we celebrate a day that symbolizes peace, cooperation, and unity – Europe Day. This holiday reminds us of the importance of shared values, cultural diversity, and mutual respect among nations.

Ukraine is a part of the family of European nations with common values and aspirations.

Ukraine is not only the geographical center of Europe but also an integral part of its cultural, historical, and value-based space.

Ukraine's European choice is a path of development based on respect for human rights, democracy, freedom of speech, and individual dignity. For centuries, Ukrainians have shaped their identity in close dialogue with European nations. From Kyivan Rus' to the present day, Ukraine has adopted and simultaneously enriched European traditions in education, science, art, and nation-building.

Today, Ukraine's European choice is not just a political course but a conscious aspiration of society to live by the principles of openness, equality, and mutual respect. These are reforms, changes, challenges and, at the same time, new opportunities for development, education, culture, and international cooperation.

Against the backdrop of the full-scale war, Ukrainians are declaring their belonging to the European community even more loudly.

To mark the occasion, the Scientific Library of the State Tax University (Room 369, Building C) is hosting a book exhibition titled «Ukraine’s European Choice». This exhibition will help you better understand the history and purpose of the EU's creation, as well as provide detailed insights into Ukraine's European integration.

We invite you to watch the video review of the exhibition!
