On April 23, the Scientific Library of the State Tax University hosted a special masterclass by Eco Vibe Art titled “Paper Vine Weaving,” which combined creativity, environmental awareness, and inner harmony.

The event was held under the inspiring slogan: “Giving paper a second life and ourselves — peace of mind!”

The initiative was organized by students of group F-23 together with their lecturer, Liudmyla Demydenko.

The Scientific Library of the State Tax University, in cooperation with the Irpin Professional College of Economics and Law, joined the event held as part of the initiative for the MetLife Award “Code of Unity” contest. This space brought together those passionate about recycling and created an environment where care for the planet is born.

The masterclass was more than just a lesson in decorative and applied arts; it was a true form of art therapy. Participants, including students and faculty of the College, as well as staff from the Scientific Library and the University Museum, had the opportunity to immerse themselves in paper vine weaving – an eco-friendly technique that transforms ordinary paper into stylish and functional items. The workshop was filled with an atmosphere of tranquility, inspiration, and genuine creative enthusiasm.

Each participant tried their hand at creating an eco-product, infusing it with their own mood and imagination. This experience not only develops creativity and fine motor skills but also helps find inner balance, providing a distraction from daily worries and the joy of creation. The masterclass was conducted by college student Uliana Chabanna.

A particularly pleasant part of the event was the awards ceremony. The Director of the Scientific Library, Svitlana Tsymbaliuk, on behalf of the organizers, expressed sincere gratitude to the talented artisans whose work inspires the community. In particular, Uliana Chabanna was solemnly presented with a Letter of Appreciation for her participation in the “World of Our Hobbies” exhibition. Her refined and professional paper vine creations became a true highlight of the event, demonstrating how modern and stylish eco-decor can be.

Such events prove once again that creativity has a powerful unifying force, and simple things can become a source of inspiration, harmony, and environmental responsibility.
