March 26, 2026, the collection of the Scientific Library of the State Tax University was enriched with a unique edition that opens new opportunities for every reader.
The Dean of the Faculty of Taxation, Accounting, and Audit, Volodymyr Mykolaiovych Kraievskyi, along with his team of deputies, donated a masterpiece of Ukrainian classics to the library fund – «Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors» by Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi, printed in Braille (in three volumes).
Why Is This Important?
- Inclusivity: We are moving closer to creating a truly barrier-free educational environment.
- Cultural Heritage: Every student, regardless of visual impairment, now has the opportunity to experience the magic of Kotsiubynskyi's words and the depth of his prose.
- Example of Leadership: The faculty team demonstrates that modern education is not just about numbers and audits, but primarily about humanity, respect for everyone's needs, and ensuring equal access to culture.
«This noble gesture is not just a donation of books, but a significant step in developing the inclusive culture of our university».
We sincerely thank Volodymyr Mykolaiovych and his colleagues, specifically Maryna Kitchenko, Maryna Skoryk, and Alla Savchenko, for this contribution! Your attention to inclusion makes our library more modern, open, and kind.
This day has become truly symbolic and proves once again: together, we are building a university where everyone is valued!
Together towards knowledge without limits!
