January 24 marks the International Day of Education – a day that highlights the power of education as a catalyst for peace, development, and resilience, especially in the face of global challenges. Today, as Ukraine integrates into the European community, our education is gaining a new, European dimension, evolving from a mere tool for acquiring knowledge into a fundamental pillar for the future.
Modern education within the European dimension focuses on personal development, critical thinking, and the capacity for lifelong learning. It bridges the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills, digital literacy, and intercultural communication.
Key roles are played by equal access to education, inclusion, and academic mobility, particularly through international exchange programs. The European Education Area fosters cooperation between nations, preserves cultural diversity, and prepares youth for the challenges of a globalized world.
To commemorate this occasion, the Scientific Library of the State Tax University (Room 369, Building C, Periodicals Reading Room) is hosting a thematic exhibition titled: «Modern Education: The European Dimension».
This exhibition is more than just a display; it is a call for dialogue – an invitation to explore new paths, implement the best European practices, and create an educational environment where everyone can fulfill their potential.

We also invite you to view a video selection of books on this topic.
