The Department of Foreign Languages held a student scientific round table “LANGUAGE SKILLS: THE BRIDGE TO YOUR PROFESSIONAL FUTURE,” which took place on November 18 in a mixed format and became a true platform for creativity, intellectual exchange, and inspiration.
More than 50 students participated in the event — both online and offline — along with a wide audience of interested listeners, which created a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.
The round table was moderated by students of the specialty B11 “Philology” — Sofiia Kharchenko and Valeriia Burova — who skillfully and professionally ensured the organization of the discussion, a clear sequence of presentations, and a friendly working atmosphere.
The event brought together active, motivated, and curious students who strive to master foreign languages as a key to their future professions. Participants discussed the role of English in international careers, diplomacy, management, IT, sports, and finance, as well as the importance of digital tools, intercultural communication, military English, and modern language technologies.
The round table gave students the opportunity to present their own research, improve their public speaking skills, develop communicative competence, and gain a deeper understanding of how powerful a resource foreign language proficiency can be for professional growth.
The Department of Foreign Languages expresses confidence that this scientific round table will become a bright impetus for further discoveries, creative initiatives, and continuous professional development of student youth.
