On May 31, 2025, New Delhi (India) became the epicenter of global attention — it was here that the final of the most prestigious international beauty pageant "Miss World-2025" took place, with 110 representatives from different parts of the world participating. This year, Ukraine was represented by Maria Melnychenko, a student of the State Tax University, who entered the top eight.
"In the TOP-8! I can't believe it. This is Ukraine's highest result in the entire history of participation in the competition," Maria proudly shares.
Maria Melnychenko, a student of the Faculty of Finance and Digital Technologies at STU, possesses not only stunning looks but also a strong sense of responsibility and an active civic stance. Her path to global recognition began in 2024 when she won the national title and earned the right to represent Ukraine at "Miss World-2025".
More than beauty
"Miss World" is a competition that has long gone beyond traditional fashion shows. It is a multi-stage competition that includes charitable initiatives, intellectual challenges, talent demonstrations, sports competitions, and public speaking. Maria Melnychenko successfully passed all stages, demonstrating leadership qualities, a deep inner world, and sincere love for her country.
Her performance in the national costume called "Soul of the Earth. Keeper of Life" deserves special mention, as it became not only a visual symbol of Ukraine but also an important message.
