A guest lecture was held on May 6 on the topic: “Fundamentals of US Business Law”. The lecturer was Dmytro Biryuk, founder and managing attorney of Biryuk Law Firm PLLC, USA.
The following issues were considered: the concept and objectives of US business law; choosing a place (state) to do business; what goals can be achieved by having a registered company; the procedure for choosing the right legal form of the company; tax aspects of doing business; protection of confidential information; measures to protect your own brand and some other important issues.
After the lecture, a lively discussion arose on some interesting issues: the size of the registration fee, passing the bar exam as an important condition for conducting legal business, some issues of conducting cases in courts by a lawyer and the use of artificial intelligence in conducting legal business, and some other issues.
An agreement was reached to continue mutual cooperation. Thank you to the esteemed lecturer for an interesting and useful lecture!
